K&L Gates Partners With AltaClaro to Offer Gen AI Supervisory Course for Firm Partners and Managers

AltaClaro was featured in a Legaltech News article, "K&L Gates Partners With AltaClaro to Offer Gen AI Supervisory Course for Firm Partners and Managers" by Stephanie Wilkins.

Education and training have taken center stage at many legal organizations as generative AI has entrenched itself in a majority of the current offerings in the legal tech market.

Much of the initial training focused on prompt engineering, with experiential legal training provider AltaClaro providing bespoke courses on the skill to the likes of summer associates and other legal professionals at K&L Gates and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, as well as to the over-4,000 lawyers in Mackrell International's 90+ member firms.

Now, AltaClaro is teaming up with K&L Gates once again to tackle generative AI training from a new perspective. On Thursday, the organizations unveiled their joint work on a new course titled "Guiding Effective Use of GenAI: A Supervisory Course for Law Firm Partners," which is "specifically designed to equip partners and managers in law firms and in-house legal departments with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively oversee the use of Generative AI (GenAI) by their teams–including leading-edge guidance for complying with the ABA's recent formal opinion on the ethical use of GenAI," according to the release.
