Ascension Stories #18: Darren Teshima

For more than a decade, while also advising sophisticated financial institutions and tech companies, Darren Teshima has brought his considerable legal advocacy skills to bear on behalf some of the most vulnerable and overlooked members of our society.

In this episode, Darren shares his passion for pro bono work representing unaccompanied minor children in asylum cases, including the touching story of a boy from China who ultimately shared his success and gratitude for Darren's help many years after his asylum had been won. Darren also highlights venues in which he and Orrick have contributed to the opposition of the Trump administration's executive orders on immigration.
