COMING SOON: Conducting Lawful Harassment Investigations with Jeanine Conley
From hiring and employee morale to brand reputation, litigation costs and liability, the harms and risks inherent in workplace harassment have never been starker. This in-depth class uniquely prepares both in-house and outside counsel, as well as human resources managers, to mitigate these harms — it not only informs participants of best practices, but trains them, step-by-step, to receive and address complaints, establish investigative strategies, engage witnesses, advise on and manage interim responsive actions, prevent retaliation, produce findings, and document them in a comprehensive report.
Your Master Class instructor is Jeanine Conley, a shareholder at Littler Mendelson with deep, practical expertise in employment litigation and harassment investigations. She has represented many of the nation’s leading companies in employment-related disputes and workplace investigations, and she regularly speaks on panels and serves as an instructor to other lawyers on the conduct of investigations.
Jeanine advises and counsels clients in all industries, particularly the manufacturing, retail, financial services and media and entertainment industries and has represented clients before numerous government agencies.
Upon completion of this Master Class, you will be able to:

✔ Instill best practices for encouraging employees and other protected individuals to raise complaints internally
✔ Unpack the complexities of investigations with a focus on planning, scope, witness engagement, credibility assessment, and documentation
